Symantec Sales Account Manager

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established technology solutions provider with a strong reputation built over nearly three decades in the industry.

 

As part of continued growth, they are looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially focused Sales Executive / Account Manager to develop opportunities within their Symantec division.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and managing the full sales process from initial engagement through to close.

 

The Role

 

You'll be responsible for driving revenue growth across a portfolio of cybersecurity solutions, developing relationships with both new and existing customers, and working closely with vendor and distribution partners to maximise opportunities.

The position offers a blend of new business development and account management, allowing you to build a sustainable client base while generating new opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Generate and develop new business opportunities across the cybersecurity market.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Manage opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Deliver solution-based sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Work closely with vendor and distribution partners to drive growth.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting information within the CRM system.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.

 

About You

 

We're keen to speak with ambitious sales professionals who have experience selling technology, software, or cybersecurity solutions.

 

You'll ideally have:

 

  • Experience in cybersecurity, software, IT services, or technology sales.
  • A proven track record of generating new business and closing deals.
  • Strong relationship-building and account management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • A consultative and commercially focused sales approach.
  • The drive and motivation to succeed in a target-driven environment.

 

Highly Desirable

 

  • Experience selling cybersecurity solutions.
  • Exposure to endpoint security, data protection, backup, cloud security, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Experience working with vendor and channel partners.
